We bring learning outside.

We offer farm-based education to support and enhance local communities.

Through our programs, kids are encouraged to be creative, test their ideas, and see how their actions can affect the environment and their community in positive ways.

Outdoor education is for everyone.

Our school field trip programs are designed to complement and enhance BC curriculum.

From seeding in the greenhouse, planting and harvesting, learning about Indigenous food systems, feeding animals, and cooking in the farm kitchen, kids are invited to get their hands dirty and be curious in a safe and dynamic environment.

Summer Day Camp registration is open!

Our Summer Day Camp gives kids the chance to get dirty, be curious, get creative, make something new, and learn from other kids in a dynamic, cooperative, and safe setting.

“My students were making new connections between the farm activities and science activities done in the classroom, all while showing greater observational skills, interest, and understanding.”

— Kari Holmes, K-1 Teacher, Salt Spring Elementary

Our programs are based at Bullock Lake Farm

Bullock Lake Farm is 24 acres of farmland and forest on Salt Spring Island, BC. The farm is located in Coast Salish Territory, on the unceded ancestral lands of Hul’qumi’num and SENĆOŦEN speaking people. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, play, and work on this land, and are committed to furthering Truth and Reconciliation within our sphere.

2024 will be the third year of programming on the farm, with increased community engagement every year.
